  1. Importing pictures from a Recipe CD-ROM

  3. Some Recipe CD-ROMs do not support exporting their pictures (or even the text of their recipes, except printing that is).
  4. Anyhow, there is a possibility to import their pictures in CuliDataBase.
  5. Since Mac OS 7.6, you can select the picture on your screen with Command-Shift-4. Start from the largest picture as possible and keep in mind the ratio of the CuliDataBase picture window.
  6. The result is a PICT file that you can import. 
  7. If your system software does not support Command-Shift-4 for picture selection, then you can use  for this purpose a shareware program like Flash-It™.

  9. As for the text of the recipes, unless you are an experienced hacker, you have to retype it in SimpleText to be able to import the recipe in CuliDataBase.
